  • Made solid price at Doncaster St Leger sales. The trainer and owner had the previous 2yo from the mare.
  • First season sire made 6f May debut at 2yo and superior 6-7f runner. Made solid impression at the sales and yearlings sold well.
  • B2yoR rated 32 of his yearlings and they were a solid group if lacking real stars. 
  • Sire has had 13 runners already with two wins, one on debut in a moderate race at Edinburgh two days ago.
  • The dam was a useful sprint 2yo who won on debut. She has produced one moderate to average sprint 2yo to date.
  • Trainer did not target FTO wins up to 2003 and debut runs were normally uncompetitive at longer SPs. 2yos tended to show good improvement to STO. However, in 2004 he probably had a good set of 2yos and the debuts run were much more competitive with a win and two second places. He had a winner with his first runner of the season (April 29th).
  • Trainer runs two in the race and this appears to be the first string with a senior jockey.

  • 66/1 on debut with trainer's filly 28/1. Both ran ok races with this one looking smaller and less athletic than the filly. Tracked the average pace by a length at halfway. 2nd entering the last 1f after the moderate types had dropped away. Slight fade late and dropped to fourth.  Estimate [59]
  • Trainer's filly that finished in front at Hamilton showed little improvement STO.  Estimate [64]
