By a good sire who's record has declined as he has become unfashionable
and attracts lower quality mares. The trainer has used the sire before
to produce winners such as Deceitful and Eccentric.
The sire can get 5f winners with help from the dam.
The dam was placed at sprint distances at 2yo but showing poor form. She
produced a minor sprint 2yo winner in (It) with a previous foal.
Trainer does not normally target FTO wins and debuts are normally well
below final rating and runner's develop with racing.
In 2004 he had the winner of this race on debut with a 36k gns sales buy.
That runner rated low 60s for the win and was rated 85+ at best so did
fit the pattern but was good enough to win on debut although short of her
best.
In summary a runner that on pedigree and likely quality is more likely
to be the normal sort of debut for the trainer than the precocious and

size but lighter built and narrow. Very fit and ready but limited to low
60s rating and little scope to develop.

pace. Just over 2L off the leader at halfway but notably outpaced by the
better types as the race quickened. Faded and slightly hampered. Estimate
