5f Maiden |
Made a low price at the Doncaster St Leger sales.
Reviewed at sales, rated 58 and a slightly below average chance of being
a 2yo winner at her level. Just below medium size and notable heavily built.
Deep through but weak legged and overall probably too lengthy and barrelly.
Did not look in proportion.
By a good sire with a notably good 2yo winner to runner record. Sire get
winners at range of distances but solid record at 5-6f and can also get
early runners. Sire can get FTO winners. He has already had three good
5f winners and a good 6f placer in 2005.
Dam was a moderate rating 5f 2yo winner and has produced a moderate placed
sprinter.
Third runner of the season for the trainer and notably late and usually
has a batch of April debuts.
Notable for having the runners competent and very close to their best rating
on debut. The 3 winners in 2004 were amongst the batch of the earliest
(April) debuts.
Runners tend not to progress but run to a consistent level. In previous
seasons has had difficulty converting placed runners into winners. In 2004
managed to win three weaker early season races but three other placed runners
did not win.
In summary a limited type and may be competent to rate to a high level
on debut but trainer's first two debuts have been poor. Profile
[52 + 5 = 57]
