Made solid price at Goffs sales.
By veteran sire who has a good record with 2yos. Has better record at 6f+
but can get precocious 5f types.
Old dam has produced only 4 flat winners in a long career. The best of
these was a good sprint 2yo for Aidan O'Brien. However, she has only produced
one winner since her 1994 foal.
Trainer used to be assistant to R Hannon and is developing his own style
since he started in 2001. He tends not to target strong debuts except with
particular runners. These tend to leave to shorter SPs (8/1 or less compared
to 10/1+ normally).
In summary a good sire but the old dam is a worry although the reasonable
sales price is some help. Unlikely to be ready to compete on debut unless
he's average+ and that would seem unlikely. Profile [52]

Post Race |
Absolutely typical just below medium sized, neat type with medium build
that the trainer has. The least fit in the group. The trainer usually gets
them to rate in the mid-60s and wins an auction or similar before either
running them in claimers or in handicaps if they can scrape to 70ish rating.
Rated 65.
The least fit on debut and not ready to compete to his profile. Added a
notably slow break to this and never got into the race. Relatively short
at 16/1 in an unbalanced market lacking real inspiration. Estimate [6]

Made a poor debut and didn't look fit and a type that the trainer develops
for a minor race or handicaps. Trainer has made a slow a start to the season
with three poor debut runs so far. This is his first STO run but unlikely
to be competitive here. Profile [46]
