5f Maiden Fillies' |
Retained for lowish price at the Tattersalls part 2 sales.
Reviewed at the sales and rated 62. She was smallish and medium build.
Lengthy for her size and underpowered with little scope to develop.
Sire has few British raced 2yos but used to have a very good winners to
runners record. He can get earlyish 5f winners.
Dam was a 3yo winner in the US.
The trainer does not strongly target 2yo racing and has a moderate to average
record. Until 2003 debut runs tended to be competent and within 10lbs of
final rating. 2yos would improve on STO and then show little progress and
overall an unpredictable rating series.
In 2004 he seemed to have his runners readier on debut and assisted by
some better types got two FTO wins and a second place. The runners showed
the same variation in ratings after the highest level had been reached.
He has had one moderate debut so far. In 2002 he had the 33/1 winner of
a poor edition of this race who was on her second run.
In summary a moderate physical type at the sales and unlikely to be better
than competent on debut. Ok draw in 9 of 16. Profile [46]

Post Race |
Just average fitness at Windsor and same paddock rating as at the sales.
A solid debut in a race with a good pace where the first 5 home were in
those postions by the end of the first furlong and clear of the others.
Always in fifth place and 2L off the leader at halfway before being slightly
outpaced 2F out and plugging on. Estimate [65]

Trainer has moderate record with 2yos and they tend to show limited development
and variable ratings in a sequence of runs. Profile [62 + 3 =

5f Maiden |
5/4f at Catterick for a poor race. Got loose while she was hooded for stalls
entry. Blundered through the rails and collided with the front wing of
a Land Rover (denting it badly). Withdrawn.
Has had a break since the Catterick problems and now runs in a tougher
open maiden against colts. Unlikely to be competitive with the better males.
