  • Made a lowish price at the Tattersalls October part 2 sales.
  • Reviewed at the sales and rated 62 with a low chance of being a 2yo winner at his level. Quite small and just below average build.
  • Little used and probably exported sire has an average record with 2yos. He can get 5f wins with help from the dam but a better record overall from 6f+. He has had one 6f claimer winner from two runners in 2005.
  • Dam has German pedigree and won at 2yo there and related to 7 minor winners int he same country.
  • Trainer is in excellent form with his 2yos. He had four who made early season debuts and these unexpectedly competed poorly. He has said his string were behind their normal schedule at that stage. After a break he started running his 2yos again from mid May. The first 11 runs then produced 6 wins (one for each of the early debuts plus two by useful filly Clare Hills), plus 3 places.  
  • His FTO runners have competed well in this period with 1 win and two places from 5 runs. He has had four debuts in the last month with the first three looking like his usual standard and being competent but not ready to place. He then had his second FTO winner of the season laste wekk with a runner than kept on unusually well in the last 1f for one of his FTO 2yos. He has had more FTO winners this season than in the previous 4 years combined (interesting to see how good the latest FTO winner is - Hill Of Almhuim).
