6f Auction Fillies' |
Made a lowish price at the Tattersalls October Part 2 sales.
Sire has a very good record with 2yos and ok for producing 6f and precocious
runners. He has already had 5 winners in 2005 over 5-6f.
Dam made a very poor price at the sales and showed moderate form winning
over 5f. She has produced two runners who have bee so poor they have been
airbrushed out of her record.
Second 2yo runner of the season for the trainer.
He does not fully target 2yo racing and the strategy appears to try to
win a maiden in the first 2-3 runs and then wait until the 3yo season.
For the most part only the poorest runners normally run more than 3 times
at 2yo. He rarely has runners in nurseries.
His runners are often very fit and and close to their best rating on their
debut. If a debutant does not run well and make the first three then they
almost certainly have limited ability.
In the last 4 seasons 7 of the stable's 10 wins have been FTO or STO. The
other three wins have been 3TO. FTO SPs show limited correlation with FTO
performance except at the extremes.
In summary a short SP with support would probably be informative with this
trainer but likely to be a moderate type although fit and competent. Profile
[54 + 4 = 58]
