By good sprint sire who can get early runners but better types tend to
have some size and develop through season.
Sire has had moderate start to 2005 with one AW 5f win from six runners.
Dam showed above average form over 5-6f over three seasons. She has produced
one moderate to average 5-6f winner.
Medium sized stable has a simple strategy with 2yos trying to win a maiden
race in the first three runs. The debuts runs are usually competent and
10lbs below final rating. This is the trainer's third runner.
The earliest debuts in each season usually include the likely winners in
the season. He has had one runner so far who has shown hints of form but
has run too freely to show his best and the other was midfield in a moderate
fillies' race.
Trainer has had a 50/1 3rd in the race in 2003 with a runner that did not
win later.
Filly versus 15 colts and well drawn in 14.
In summary a reasonable sprint 2yo pedigree but difficult to place.
