Retained for poor price at Tattersalls part 2 sales.
By a first season sire who made a solid impression at the sales. He has
had 10 runners so far and two have placed on debut but no wins as yet.
Dam has speed pedigree and did not race.
Trainer used to be assistant to R Hannon and is developing his own style
since he started in 2001. He tends not to target strong debuts except with
particular runners. These tend to lead to shorter SPs (8/1 or less compared
to 10/1+ normally).
He has had one runner so far in 2005 who was inexperienced and well beaten
here a week ago.
In summary an unproven pedigree and no help from the sales price. Unlikely
to be a trainer 'special' and therefore uncompetitive on debut.

Drawn 3/15 at Windsor on debut in a race on softer ground where the field
went far side at halfway. Finished 7th at 33/1 and two places behind Rising
Cross who is also in this race. Estimate [33]
Trainer's first STO run of season, minor improvement. Profile

16/1 and pressed the pacemaker behind a solid pace at Folkestone before
fading quite badly from inside 2f. Again finished behind Rising Cross.
Estimate [44]
Trainer tends to bring this type along steadily to try to get a reasonable
handicap mark before deciding whether to drop them to claiming or seller
level. Profile [45 + 4 = 49]
