Sire has average 2yo record but can get early 5f runners and winners tend
to be competitive on debut.
Dam unraced but has a good pedigree for producing sprint 2yos. Has produced
a minor 5f 2yo winner from 2 foals that sold better than this one.
Trainer gets 2yos ready and professional on debut and better ones can win.
Normally enters runners in suitable races. Has two entries for this race.
This one has not been entered in either of the previous southern 2yo races
(Edinburgh from Dorset for this race)
Trainer had two runners in first 2yo race but both moderate types and both
faded after making and pressing the pace. Neither was fully fit on debut.
Trainer has only had 3 runners at course (one debut) in 2002-4 and none
were competitive.
In summary an ok pedigree for a 5f 2yo at minor level. Trainer hasn't had
runners as ready on debut in last two seasons but should be competent.

Pressed the quick pace and faded with the other pacemakers before the last
furlong. Went in from 5/1 to 4/1 and trainer's usual apprentice jockey
rode here although he had entries at other courses.
The trainer has had a poor start to the season with none of his runners
competitive so far.
Worth at least seeing what she can do next time with a normal pace on better
ground. Estimate [27]
