Warwick 5f Mf (5) |
Relatively high price for DSL sales.
By a good sire with a notably good 2yo winner to runner record. Sire get
winners at range of distances but solid record at 5-6f and can also get
early runners. Sire can get FTO winners.
Dam had similar sales price and good quality in short race career. Neither
previous raced at 2yo.
Trainer has a below average debut win rate unless with useful runners and
for specific owners.
He has had two debut runners in 2005 with markedly different results, one
clueless and the other winning with a professional performance in a race
of similar quality ot this one.
In summary a good pedigree to develop and be better class than this race.
The question mark is over how ready she will be on debut and whether she
can reel in the nippier types in the last 1f. A tricky one. Profile

Post Race |
A real disappointment. Most expensive in the field and cost 40k gns but
is small, lightly made and did not look ready to race. Looked like a neater
version of Agent Kensington from 2004. Started at 11/2 and with each-way
support for other runners and the favourite strongly supported the 'vibes'
suggested not a lot was expected.
Started slightly slowly and got a bump from Ellcon and never got into the
race.
Looks poor value at 40k and not one to follow. Trainer will have to work
to find a minor race for her. Estimate [38]

April 4th: Declared for
Yarmouth 5.2f Maiden |
Runs only 6 days after a poor debut where she never got into the race and
the vibes suggested not a lot was expected.
Trainer has better than average record with STO runs off short breaks.
In summary looked a limited type on debut and added a lack of mental readiness
to produce a poor run. Should improve and be more professional here but
looked a moderate physical type. Profile [52]
