May 23rd: Beverley
5f Auction |
Retained for low price at the sales but topweight filly in this Class 7
race.
Reviewed at the sales and rated 58 . Just below medium size and build but
notably short and weak in front.
Good sire has variable record with 2yos and gets winners at all distances.
Can get 5f winners although better record at 6f and had his first winner
of 2005 at 6f last week.
Dam unraced but with a reasonable pedigree and just about ok to produce
a sprinter.
Trainer has had his debut runners very ready on debut in 2005. His first
ten debut included one FTO winner and a high number of places. The latest
four debuts have been uncompetitive and possibly suggesting he is now running
the less competent athletes.
In summary an early season debut by the trainer might be competitive to
place on debut. Less confidence with the later debut although the sales
review does not discount her from this level of race. Profile
