6f Maiden |
Made a solid price in the select session of the Tattersalls Part 1 sales.
Gained entry to that section with help of dam's relation to Wher Or When.
By a good sire with a notably good 2yo winner to runner record. Sire get
winners at range of distances but solid record at 5-6f and can also get
early runners. Sire has had FTO winners in previous years but none in 2005.
He has already had three good 5f winners and a good 6f placer in 2005.
Dam unraced and until recently only related to minor winners but Where
Or When (by Danehill Dancer) has raised the families' profile.
Trainer made a late start to the season with his 2yos but appears to have
a number of average, or better types.
He has run ten 2yos so far with the first five including 2 winners on debut
(both winners again STO) with three others placed. All have looked fit
and prepared to run to a high level within their ability FTO.
The latest five debuts (including an expensive filly yesterday) have been
unplaced .The market has been a poor indicator overall of the better debuts.
In summary a good but unproven pedigree despite it's echoes of 'Where Or
When'. Trainer appears to have run his more natural 2yos in the first batch
of 5 and the latest debuts have looked more development types. Difficult
to place. Profile [58]
