  • By second season sire that made a very good start with his first 2yos in 2004 although no winner before June 26th.
  • Dam was a 10f winner at 3yo and is full or half sister to a variety of Group 1 racehorses.
  • Third 2yo runner of the season for a major trainer. He does not target debut wins and those he gets are usually with superior types and more likely later in the season. He had his first runner two days ago who was backed to 9/2 but showed some inexperience on soft ground and finished 4th. He had an unplaced runner in Division I of this race.

  • Backed from 7/1 to 5/1 at Newbury in the same maiden the trainer introduced Iceman in in 2004. Room to improve fitness. Above average size and an athletic set up and reach. Broke well and in front rank after 1F. Settled back as Irish Whispers driven on and in 6th just over 2L off the lead at halfway. good progress to challenge for the lead just inside the final furlong and hung left across Dingaan. Going away from the much smaller Ivan Denosovich at the finish. Showing inexperience but too good anyway.  Estimate [80]
