  • Made a low price at the cheaper Doncaster sales.
  • Reviewed at the sales and rated 63. Small with medium build and with a little scope to develop but probably limited to low 60s rating at best.
  • By solid 'cult' sire that gets a good number of tough runners and does well with AW runners. Can get 5f 2yo winners from May onwards.
  • Dam has a minor sprinter/miler pedigree.
  • Trainer had poor season in 2004 and was not comparable to his previous results and methods. Early runners are likely to be competitive for wins in the season (along with occasional 'duff' one being got out of the way). Debut runs are usually competent and better runners can place and win. 
  • He has made a slow start to 2005 with the first three debuts moderate although the last two have looked better types and finished 4th & 5th.
  • In summary ought to be out of his depth on debut in this solid maiden.  Profile [54]

  • 100/1 on debut in a race on rain softened ground. Raced on the stands' side and 3L off the leader at halfway and faded in the last 2f to midfield.  Estimate [52]
  • Form of his Ripon race is a little difficult to read and one of a number of big fields this season with better types hidden in the ruck with the moderate ones. The 5th and 10th (behind him and presumably unsuited by the soft ground on debut) have won since. Steps up to 6f. Trainer runs 2 with P Fessy on this one and J Fanning on Horsefair Dancer.  Estimate [60]
