5f Maiden Fillies' |
Made a lowish price at the Tattersalls Ireland sales where the trainer
bought a number of 2yos that ran in early season.
Second season sire made a moderate to average impression in 2004 with a
limited number of 2yos. The winners and the better types were notable for
needing 7f+ later in the season to show their form.
Sire has had a 5f winner on softer ground for R Hannon in 2005 and a 6f
placer.
Dam was a useful 6-7f winner in Ireland.
Trainer is notable for getting his 2yos fit and ready for early season
and those with ability compete well on debut. He has shown this trait in
2005.
Trainer had his first debut runner since May 2nd three days ago and runs
a filly in each division of this race. The later debuts tend to be the
less natural sprint 2yos.
In summary a pedigree better for 6f but would produce a competitive 2yo
at a moderate to average level. The later debut for a relentlessly 'early
5f' trainer suggests a more development debut although still fit and competent.

14/1 on debut and produced a typically professional debut for the trainer.
Broke ok and travelled well 3 wide of the rail behind a solid pace. Always
travelling best and eased clear 1.5f out and keeping on well at the finish.

Form of her debut win looks ok with her 3L clear and the third has won
a minor maiden since. Trainer tends to have runners mostly ready FTO and
moderate improvement. Moderate draw in 5 but might be able to get a tracking
pitch given the ability she showed on debut. Profile [78 + 3 =

Non runner at Beverley. Trainer has said in interview that she has had
a lot of niggling problems but had always shown them she had better ability.
The problems had stopped her making the normal early season for the trainer.
Trainer regularly runs 2yos for this owner at the Royal meeting.
