July 11th: Windsor
6f Maiden |
Did not reach his reserve at teh Tattersalls October part 2 sales.
First season sire cost $1.5M as a yearling and won a Group 3 over 7f at
2yo after an August debut. He made an acceptable impression at the sales.
B2yor reviewed 13 of his yearlings and they were a solid group although
lacking higher quality.
He has had one British winner, from six runners, who made a quiet debut
over 5f and won over 6f 3TO.
Old dam has produced only one, moderate, winner since her 1996 foal.
Trainer has a moderate record with 2yos and tends to have overly high opinions
of them. Debuts until 2003 tended to be uncompetitive and around 20lbs
below final rating. In 2004 the debuts seemed to be more competent and
included a debut win in a poor race by his best 2yo. Lower SPs (9/1 or
less) tend to indicate runners with some ability.
He has run five in 2005 with the earliest two debuts showing better form
STO+. One won a claimer 3TO and showing around 15lb improvement from
debut and another finished placed in a 7f maiden STO (6f debut) and then
throwing away a moderate 7f maiden by hanging 3TO.
