June 16th: Newbury 6f Maiden c&g	Made a solid price at the Goffs sales but less than the foal level. First season sire made his debut in August over 7f and showed his best 2yo form at 8f. Made a good impression at the sales but had received a lot of good quality mares in his first year. He has had two previous runners with one minor 5f winner. Old dam was a winner in the US and has produced 9 winners, mostly in the US. Her last winner was her 2000 foal who was an average 7f 2yo winner here. Trainer does not target FTO wins and those that win on debut are normally his best runners (or targeted debuts for specific owners). He has had 7 FTO wins from 28 runs in 2005 and above his usual rate although most of those fit the model of being better class 2yos running for one of the specific owners. His last 6 debuts have included 3 places without any looking likely to win which is close to his normal record. Trainer has run two in the race in each of the last two years.
