March 15th : -	One of three trainer entries for the first race of the season, an event he won in 2005 (with one of 4 entries) when he made a remarkably quick start with five winners from six runners by early April. Most expensive entry in the race and at the high end of the prices the trainer normally has to spend at the sales. By a first season sire who is still the only 5f winner at 2yo out of his sire. However, he needed to be trained by R. Hannon and have three attempts to do it and proved much better at 7f at 2yo. Dam a 6f winner in Germany and has produced two moderate to average quality sprint 2yos at best. In summary a pedigree that could produce and average sprint maiden winner but less likely to be this early in the season unless in a moderate contest.
April 10th :-	Declared for 5f maiden at Windsor after a 23 day break. Report from Lingfield debut = "was just a neat type, slightly smaller than average with above average build. A better than average mover in the walk. He showed inexperience in the race and had to be driven along down the hill before plugging on to fourth. He ought to be able to improve to win an early maiden rating around 70 but may not be better than that. Along with Mr Millman's other runner - Wrecking Crew - he did not stand out in the group in terms of fitness nor readiness. The cold spring has probably had an effect and on this evidence the trainer is not going to have a 2005 type fast start. He may well revert to his more normal early weeks record where he does get debut wins but only with his best (or best two) 2yos. " He was favourite at Lingfield and his trainer has had a slow start overall with just one winner to date. Wrecking Crew ran 4 days ago and was backed but ran poorly (partly helped by getting into a three way duel for the lead). The Lingfield race has seen the 2nd & 3rd win races since although while putting up just moderate to average early season performances.
