Below average size and just above average build. Compact, deep and a neat
ready type looking like a smaller 'Pivotal'.

April 10th :- |
Declared for 5f maiden at Windsor which the trainer regularly uses and
has a placed runner in each of 2003-5. Chosen to run out of 4 entries.
Trainer does not target debut wins and they tend to come along with the
better runners (6 from 100 in 2006). He gets odd early debut wins with
his best types. His two debut runners to date have both finished unplaced.
First runner for first season sire. He had more than 70 yearlings sold
in 2005 for an average well over 30,000gns. With the quality of support
he got at stud to add to the sheer numbers he is an obvious candidate to
compete strongly for top first season sire. However, it is worth noting
that he showed his best form as a 4yo and was a good nursery class runner
at 2yo in later season.
Dam has a solid pedigree although showed only placed form in Italy.

April 5th :- |
Runs only 5 days on AW at Kempton after a poor debut on rain softened ground
at Windsor. Trainer has a reasonable record with runners STO off breaks
of 7 days or less with 7 winners from 27 ruuners (26%) & another 7
placed.
Trainer tends to run solid types at the course in early season (his previous
runner at this AW track won STO). Presumably thought capable of better
and turned out again quickly because of a problem at Windsor?
