Irish trained by DK Weld for Moyglare Tud. Won five races between 7-10f
at 2yo to 4yo and a Group 2 older winner. At 2yo won 7f maiden Sept 6th
then the Group 1 National Stakes at The Curragh on Sept 17th.

To stud in 1997 and an average record highlighted by his only Group 1 winner
- Vinnie Roe. His only other Group/Grade winner has been in the US. Poor
record with a decreasing number of British raced 2yos since his first season
in 2000. Only one winner from 23 runners in the period 2002-5 which was
Sir Haydn (8f maiden, Oct 18th) in 2002.
