1991 foal. Cost 10,500gns as a yearling and trained by M. Johnston winning
four races from 6f to 8f between 2yo to 3yo. At 2yo won three from five,
6f maiden on June 25th debut, 7f Group 3 Vintage and 8f Group 2 Royal Lodge.
Won 2,000 Guineas at 3yo and placed in the 10.2f Dante.

To stud in 1996 in the US and repatriated to Britain in 2000. Below average
record overall and only produced one Group/Graded winner with Grade 3 success
of Baileys Edge in the US. Solid record with a decreasing number of British
raced 2yos in the period 2002-5 with above 30% winners to runners and a
solid strike rate. Gets winners over 6f to 8f from May onwards and although
lacking higher class winners gets regular examples of above average maiden
winners.
