1979 foal. Won three races from 6f to 8f between 2yo to 3yo. As a juvenile
won two races in a 6f maiden and the 7f Group 3 Solario Stakes. At
3yo won the Group 3 Craven and placed in the Derby & Irish Derby.

To stud in the US in 1983 and has had a very good career producing many
Group winners and best known in Europe for his middle distances and stayes
such as Benny The Dip (The Derby), Mutafaweq (St Leger), Lady In Silver
(French Oaks) & Magnificent Star (14f Group 1). Retired from stud in
2003 and the 2yos in 2006 will be his last crop.

A consistent record with small groups of British raced 2yos with the winners
to runners percentage at average level or better and usually a solid strike
rate. Gets winners at 7f to 8f from late July onwards. Gets regular better
quality 2yos with recent example being 7f Group 2 Almushahar & Group/Listed
placed Dhabyan, Garmoucheh & Silver Gilt in in 2002; White Hawk in
2003; and conditions winner Eilean
