  • Declared for the 8 runner Brocklesby. The most northerly entry in the whole field.
  • Trainer only has a few 2yos each season and they tend to be cheap buys and occasional moderate owner breds. Tends to get his runners relatively fit for debut and run them in suitable races (normally weaker auction races and seller/claimers). No debut winner in last 4 seasons and runners tend to peak STO despite their relative fitness. 
  • Trainer last had runner in the Brocklesby when Furniture Factors finished 14th in 2002 at 33/1. He developed to show 60s form on his third run.
  • Sire had below average start in 2005, his first season, but got two competitive early season runners and has already had the winner of the first race of the season in 2006 (which cost less at the sales than this one).
  • Dam has moderate pedigree and was physically small. She showed poor form overall although managing minor wins at 5f to 7f as an older horse. Her runners to date have included just one winner - over 12f as a 3yo after showing moderate form at 6f at 2yo.
