  • Declared for 5f AW maiden at Kempton. K. Ryan has already had one debut runner at Kempton this year with Granny Peel who ran in a seller next time. With the cold and damp spring along with mostly softer going at the turf meetings to date it is likely the trainer is using this course to get better going rather than these 2yos being notably better types. 
  • Sire has a mixed record with British raced 2yos and two poorish seasons 2004-5 after a solid start in 2003. He hasn't got precocious types with no winner to date before June and only one debut winner. He gets winners mostly at 5-6f from mid-season.
  • The dam started well at stud getting useful sprint 2yos. That led to this one's full brother costing M Tabor (supporting a Coolmore stallion of course) as much as 150,000gns. He was a smallish, neat type of just average ability and needed blinkers to get him motivated.
