1984 foal. Won 4 races at 5-6f between 2-3yo, Group 1 5f at Royal Ascot
at best. Good stud record with 4 Northern hemisphere Group 1 winners (Aube
Indienne (US), Dolphin Street (Fr, 7f), Lake Coniston (6f) & Fly ToThe
Stars (8f)) and 5 in Australia.

Good to solid record with British raced 2yos until 2005 when he had no
winner from 14 runners. In 2002-4 had 17 winners from 45 runners (compare
this to Bertolini's 17 from 57 as leading first season sire in 2005) and
several of good quality. Recent better class 2yos have been Twilight Blues
(2001), Sister Bluebird (2002) & Jewel In The Sand (2004).

Gets winners at all distances from May onwards although has best recent
record at 6f and wins at 5f & 8f have been rare.

The obvious question is whether the poor 2005 results with 2yos were an
indicator of a lessening of quality which would be expected as an old sire
gets less good mares to cover. In this light it is instructive to see hehad
only 4 yearlings sold in 2005 for a low average below 5,000 gns. No yearlings
sold in 2006.
