- 1986 foal owned by Sheikh Mohammed and trained in France by Ander Fabre winning 7 races from 6f to 12f at 2yo to 4yo. Won both races at 2yo by mid August then off the course until winning a 10f Group 3 in Sept of 3yo career. At 4yo won 4 of 7 races including three Group 1s over 12f (Coronation Cup, Grand Prix De Saint-Cloud & Breeders' Cup Turf).
- To stud in 1991 and a good career which sees him regularly cited as a good example of Sadler's Wells being successful as a 'sire of sires'. Best known for producing older winners over 12f, for example the Group 1 winners Singspiel, Kutub, Central Park, Winged Love & Zanzibar. His best 2yo has been the French trained ActOne.
- Variable record with British raced 2yos and only a small number of representatives up to 2003, the last two seasons have seen a marked increase in runners and average results (around 25% winners to runners and a strike rate just above average). With rare exceptions tends to get winners at 7f and further from August onwards. Each season has seen one better class runner - Listed 8f winner Heathstead Wings (2004) and Winged Cupid (placed in 8f Group 1 Racing Post Trophy) in 2005 with both trained by M. Johnston.
