- 2001 foal, 15.3hh (1.60m). Owner bred by K. Abdulla and trained in France by C. Maarek-Head. First foal and only notable winner to 2008 from an unraced dam who is a half sister to Listed level winner High And Low.
- Ran four times at 2yo starting with a short-head second in a 6f maiden on July 31st. Successful in his three later runs in a 7f maiden on September 14th, the Group 1 Grand Criterium over 7f at Longchamp and finally the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy over 8f at Doncaster. Won his first three starts at 3yo by May 16th all over 8f. Beat small fields to win French Listed and Group 3 events before success in the French 2,000 Guineas as 4/11 favourite. Uplaced in two later runs although probably showing a similar level of form to his previous wins when sixth in the Derby and tenth, but not beaten far, in a French Group 1 8f event.
