- Won 5 races at 7-8f between 2yo and 4yo. Won both runs at 2yo - 7f maiden (Oct 1st) and 7f Conditions (Oct 17th). Won three 8f races at 3-4yo - Irish 2000 guineas (Gp1), Queen Elizabeth II (Gp2) and Breeders' Cup Mile (Gr1).
- To stud in 1995 and a good and consistent record. Slight niggle that he lacks the top-class performers he ought to have produced given the opportunities he has had. Tobougg (7f Dewhurst) his only Northern hemisphere Group1 winner prior to 2005 and Tante Rose's win as a 5yo. A large total of 61 yearlings sold in 2005 for an average just below 50,000gns. 36 sold in 2006 for and average just over 43,000.
- Good record with his 2yos and a consistently solid number of winners to runners. Regularly gets better class 2yo winners and 2005 typical with Group 3 winners Blitzkrieg (8f) and Opera Cape (7f). In general gets winners from June onwards and at a similar strike rate from 6-8f. Has above average record with debut winners and runners tend to show their from within the first two runs.
- Notable for getting a high percentage of 2yos of a particular physical type - medium sized, deep chested, slightly compact and neatly made. This links to his record of relatively precocious 2yos given his own sire and their readiness on early runs. Although neatly made the lack of bigger size probably has some links to the overall lack of high class, 3yo+ development types. Blitzkrieg in 2005 a classic example of this neat, medium type.
