BACKGROUND NOTES :-

1989 foal. Owner bred by H. de Walden and trained by H. Cecil winning four races from 6.5f to 7f between 2yo to 3yo. At 2yo ran third in 6f maiden on July 19th debut then successful in a 7f maiden on Oct 3rd followed by a fourth in the 7f Group 1 Dewhurst. At 3yo won 6.5f Group 2 in France.
To stud in 1993 and an average record given the opportunities with one Group 1 winner in 14f 3yo Catchascatchcan (owner bred by his breeder) supported by Group 3 winners with his best progeny. His best 2yos have been 7f Group 3 Cupid's Glory and 5f Group 3 winner Love Everlasting, both bred by Cheveley Park where he moved to stand during his stud career.
A very mixed record with his British raced 2yos although below average overall. Even in seasons where he has got an average, or better, winners to runners record they have tended to be mostly moderate to average maiden winners. Gets winners at all distances from mid-season onwards.
12 yearlings sold in 2005 with seven fillies averaging just over 3,000gns and five colts over 16,000gns (but the median only 8,000gns). No winner from 9 runners in 2006 and only 3 yearlings sold for an average over 14,000 guineas.
