SUMMARY
2First use of outer 5f straight this year with 6f races on card as well. Field raced stands' rail. Small & limited Lady Bucket dropped early by pace. Hannon newcomer Miss Lauz look smaller than Lady Bucket. Los ground at start & look green but jockey seem very big on her and probably moderate. Not one to expect a win STO from.
Dancing Freddy look in excellent condition & Key Art a little 'off' by comparison. DF led & probably go too free 1st 2 runs and headed in the final 1F. Accept lead for first 2F here behind Key Art & EDancer. Went on to lead on the rail to halfway and increase in pace drop the wiry E. Dancer who was outpaced again & running to her usual level of form.
DF & KA close together past halfway with DF looking professional & moving straight & forwards. KA not look really comfortably with head slightly left & up and offering to hang left at times. KA drop a length off DF to the final 1F but not fading, rather not going forward. Jockey persisted & some late progress back to DF as that one stalled close to the finish. KA look some mix of unwilling & ouchy. Noseda normally runs a batch of good ones early that often win FTO. Only 2 so far this year and two moderate debuts. STOs of both, incl KA here, suggest he has run 2 moderate to average ones rather than changed his FTO approach.
DF a short running 5f sprinter but reliable so might win a nursery. Key Art looks one to avoid on his approach to racing on this performance.
