2Similar time to fillies previous day carrying 3Lbs more. But, track officially GFG from G. Straight course stands' side look to be riding quicker than whole track Official Going both days. Big field but mixed quality on profile with form runners lacking strong runs & most of FTOs not promising. Solid pace and big gaps back suggest horses 3rd+ need an excuse if not moderate. FOSpring set pace on rail & easy lead. 3 of 2nd-6th at halfway faded badly & presume moderate. Exception was Timelord who made some ground centre track from 4th before stalling late on. Looked a development OR70s winner for trainer on profile & ran like that. Gdwd Maestro 1st runner for JL Dunlop & very professional FTO. Sat 7th at Hf 4L+ off leader. Smooth progress to challenge to last 1F. On top late on. Good FTO & OR85+ & win at Novice level at least. Big Audio stable 1st string on FTO & good type. Ran very well after early problems. Green at start & unbalanced on 1st downhill roll & drop to last. Switch to centre & good progress to 4th before Jk allow him to drift home. Compete with winner to be best horse in future. Aattash just medium size & sleepy. Lost ground at start and recovered it quite quickly. Faded & not move well. Look average maiden class on this. Only other promise from Imperial Warrior & a typically uncompetitive trainer FTO. Quiet progress & allowed to drift home later on. Type to improve notably STO. |
