Garbage. Eight Hours a never threatening 8th in the Brocklesby and the biggest in a small group. Bond Together just behind him at Doncaster and less well built. Two tiny ones (Blue Bond & Zaskia) are poor and seller types at best. Alphacino ran a bit freely & pressed Eight Hours early to the bend. Pair settled around the bend with Zaskia just behind in 3rd and going OK and BTogether close up but going less well. Blue Bond whipped early and within 2.5L. EHours made an effort in the straight which got him a length clear of Alphacino who got unbalanced to the final furlong and seemed to fade after that. But, the effort was uninspiring and BTogether & the pair of tiny ones were still quite close behind and not losing ground at the finish. Blue Bond who had been driven the whole way managed to almost get to third to highlight what a poor race this was. Poor form and not a group of horses to follow on the evidence. |
