2Field race Centre to stands' side off rail. Faster time & similar performance after weights accounted for as earlier Novice race winner. Anjomarba set solid pace here & race wider than in that event. She pulled clear after halfway when field within 3L of each other aside from Minnie Rocket & Arken Lad. 5-6L clear in final furlong & eased late for 3L win. Race look uncompetitive on profile unless one of two newcomer males ok. Scilly Breeze drift & run like he needs less of a speed test. Some promise at low level. Arken Lad for new trainer who seems to prepare FTOs ok on limited evidence. Put his off fore onto a path crossing soon after start & pulled up immediately afterwards. Anjomarba small & lack scope to develop but shown early form a little above seller OR62 level although will descend in relative terms as 2yo WFA unwinds. Trainer's 1st winner of year & majority of 2yos wins at similar level. Mary Helen not seem to be progressing. Some promise from Micky's Bird staying on late. Trainer's earliest debuts often include odd development seller winners. |
