SUMMARY
2Field raced stands' rail. Slow time for GF & jockey on Sabii Sands probably settled pace notably after getting to rail. Whole field within 3L at halfway despite COTK smaller & limited & Rainsborough mostly cluleless to support view.
Ryan Moore prob make effort to get from Epsom to ride Sabii Sands. He was declared for the Newbury mid-May 6f maiden at Newbury where Hannon starts many better ones. Originally he seemed the 1st string of 3 for trainer in Div 2 with Hughes on but he rode Calypso Star & SSands a NR on day. But, always had profile to be better class & GDWD 6f maidens in May-June the next place to look for them & here he was. Late support in Market typical of Jockey update to trainer in Parade Ring.
Moore active from start & a sign that he expected a good run. Effort to get to rail & then set modest pace. Effort 2F out & challenged by the smaller APride 1F out. Responded well & going away at finish. Looks bigger, strong & balanced mover if lacking range? Take seriously at Listed level.
APride held up in slower race. Did Ok to make 1L+ on SS in later race but losing ground at finish & would not beat him NTO. Ok effort but FTO race prob over-rated. 2nd beaten earlier today.
BS 2nd runner for stable & usually an OR75-84 type & Peak STO. Show enough in attending slow pace & brief effort versus bigger colts to believe OR70s without looking different.
Other two losing ground before the 2F out effort went & look moderate unless Rboro too green.
