SUMMARY

2Light rain in AM. Going change GGF to G after race.
Similar result to 2007 with big field & fast pace allowing better class type to chase down leaders despite high draw & 9th at 5L+ at Hf. Helped by leaders racing off rail in straight as Red Av. not handle bend as he led.
Story of race concerns 1st 7 home. DesA not handle downhill nor camber & eased. JMB support but held back by Spencer early & never going after. Unbalanced on bend, etc. RDes well placed early but Jk not look happy & lost ground downhill & bend. NGE. KApp bad draw & held up to X to rail & to plug into stallers for test & confidence (trainer). AvRiv try to hold good pos. but lose it on bend. Some response later until hampered. Check NTO.
RA & Frat join up to set stiff pace. WOTM work to 4th & 2.5L back at Hf from wider draw. MBrav slow start but effort to get to 3rd at 2L. LP 5th at 3L. Barz. XB to rail & make ground on hill & bend. CM also handle hill well & 5L back at Hf.
RA go well & kick 2F out & joined by WOTM. Frat drop back but never fade & plug on. LP & MB make some ground to this pair. These four break up late on as pace told. MBrav first & prob 5f better.
RA & LP 2nd & 3rd late on but both tired badly to the line. WOTM stalled but plug on to lead by the dist. he tracked RA at Hf.
CM lose 1L & take 3F to get 5-6L back on leaders & 2L late on. Best type & prob real 90+. Another Apr FTO for trainer.
WOTM improved & prob strengthened. Other 5 better for less strong pace but show ability.
