SUMMARY

2Field race near stands' rail. Sir Parky allowed an easy lead racing just off the rail until just before halfway when he moved over. Average pace at best & Sir Parky in best position to make later race effort & control race. Did this comfortably but this race not a strong test and not spread the abilities out fully. SP just medium sized.
DDB bigger than SP but less smooth mover. Race with him in 2nd for much of race around a half length back at halfway 1 off the rail. Went with SP as he made a brief effort at 2F out but then outpaced for 1L+ when he pushed again at 1f out. Has looked a closer from off the pace previously (never better than 5th at Hf before) & a stayer in 6f terms. This pace not test her & ran ok in circumstances.
Mnarani ok size & build & in good condition. But, dip-backed and this clearly limits his pace & efficiency. Outpaced in later race in a weak race at Salisbury earlier in weak and hampered there because of his lack of pace. Had run freely in 2nd then & jockey made early effort to hold him up here. 1.5L off lead at Hf & brief response to 2f out effort but beaten 4L at finish.
Strike Shot won a Haydock race which was more of a test with Goodbye Earl pressing on by halfway. Ran the rail & 1.5L+ off lead at Hf. Outpaced & beaten 4L+ eased late. UD hang to centre track & lost 4L on leader.
SP slow start but recover easily over 2f. Lost ground to leading pair but made a little over others. Ok run but race not a real test. Medium size.
