SUMMARY
 2Poor race on profile with favourite already beaten in claimer, partly because ran too freely. Field race centre track until drift to stands' side later on. Good lesson in how 33/1 winners can occur. Weak group & 4 newcomers all lose ground at start. Not a big problem because 3 with bits of form form up in front and run too freely and soften each other up. Goodbye Earl too free To Post (TP) with apprentice and horse in charge again in race. Fading early. MADave press GE & fading by final 1F. Plug on because he degrades reasonably gracefully at low level but vulnerable to 'anything'. Gentle Beat part softened up by running 3rd then unable to go pace before plugging on late.
Pepper Lane small & debut place poor form in another race that fell apart off a stiff pace. Ran too close to pace & fade here. Which left FTO Schoolboy Champ able to win from weak group with seller quality performance. His two previous runners with ability have run well FTO in 2009 in his first year with a licence so a 33/1 SP was wrong given the set-up before the race and very wrong by halfway.
MAD can win seller or claimer if settles better. Winner probably OR60s but check review NTO.
