SUMMARY

2Fast ground & probably a tailwind led to quick time for 2yos and too quick to be done by early season types without environmental help. Pace set was solid and just a touch too fast with the first 4 home being made up of 5th & 7th at halfway just getting to lead in front of the best of the pacemaking Lo4 who were the first two through halfway.
Lo4 pacesetters form on stands' rail early with from inside Zaskia, MMandy, LLRye & Musiara. The pace broke this four up prob in ability order with Zaskia dropped by halfway, Musiara by the last 1f & MMandy just outlasted LLRye to the line.
PGirl & DKeasha both lost ground at the start and 2-3L off leaders at Hf. DK made ground more easily to lead inside the final 1f but stalled near the line. PGirl smaller & lacked pace to make move and won by sticking at it longer helped by STO fitness.
None of others got involved and the green CCat got to a uncompetitive 5th by trundling along in centre track & picking up some faders.
Prob OR60s form in the long term despite the quick time. Winner probably not the best of the group & would not beat DK over 5f next time & struggle with MMandy & LLRye if they ran off a less solid pace.
