SUMMARY

2GFF going and 12 NRs at meeting because of it and 2 in this race. NRs removed probable pace fillies from high draws. More than half the field lost ground and/or showed inexperience at the start.
3 fillies on STO from low draws form up to set initialpace. My Mandy taken to far rail alone and led entire field there for most of the race. KSkate & EDancer towards centre and joined by Lewyn (ran free after slow break) & Aalsmeer (professional & travel ok).
These 5 through halfway within 1.5L & gapback to GEarl & TPearl with EInstinct nearly 5L off lead. Rest strung out behind. Solid pace meant leaders started to stall and fade from inside 2F out. EDancer go first then KSKate & Lewyn (tired badly later) toward 1F out. Only EInstinct make a realforward move with good progress to the faders. She led late on and won comfortably and can do better & biggest filly. My Mandy probably ran close to her best level. Aalsmeer not look fully fit and not finish race off as well as she travelled.
Everything from 4th back never in race or faded badly and no particular promise. Goodbye Earl an exception & made a solid debut by trainer standards. 6th through halfway and made a short effort afterwards. Faded but some promise.
