SUMMARY

2Fast conditions & a good performance by DKeasha. Unlucky on debut when made a good move forward to lead late on but lack of fitness meant a late fade. Looked well muscled & very ready here. Broke well & crossed to rail early and set a stiff pace which put pressure on all the other runners. STO SGirl track in second at 1.5L back at halfway. VCove only newcomer to keep close at 3L back at halfway after being closer early before DK press on. Rest of field 7-10L back at halfway.
DK not stop & pulled clear inside final furlong then eased with half a furlong left. This allowed VCove to close up late on looking like a 6f type and now stretching out well. SGirl broken by pace after halfway and faded towards the final 1F. A disappointing effort.
MADave not look ready for day and lost ground at start. Made a brief forward effort inside 2F out before stalling. Others always well back and struggling to go pace. Cambuslang furthest back at halfway & some progress late. LSeat try to buck Jk off TP & generally to fizzy.
Winner looks compact ready sprint 2yo and suited by these speed conditions. Can rate higher & worth a go in the Hilary Needler. VCove find pace a problem at times but finish strongly. Moderate to no promise behind.
