SUMMARY

2Quick ground and ok pace. Line-of-3 form early with Taw-Deal-Crown from rail out with BallyV behind. Other two well back from early and 6 & 11 lengths away at Hf. Deal drop in 3rd as Crown & Twa go on in pair after 1F.
Crown made early effort, i.e. before the usual 2f out point, & probably caught Taw Jk out. She made a length+ & crossed to rail in front of him. Jk switch Taw out to centre and he responded to close back by a length. Others dropped by these efforts of the leaders.
Crown able to respond to Tawaabb off the pace set & he stalled late on and Jk accept 2nd.
Crown's trainer had 3 winners on day with S-3TO runners. Crown ought to have been a better type of his early fillies but had been given a trial ride on debut and then faded badly STO in a strong paced race. Probably an OR75-82 filly but will try better races. Well ridden here to beat an underdone colt who is a much better prospect.
Tawaabb looked very bulky and made Crown look much smaller although she has a solid build herself. The sort the trainer will use the phrases 'stuffy, needs a lot of work' & 'come on a ton for that' about. And he probably will.
Other spread out by ability seemingly. Deal a chance of minor winner.
