2Very strong part headwind towards left shoulder & difficult conditions. 1st 5 home were all had previous runs & the first 5 places very early on. A lot of slow breaks and limited horses behind on debut. DF get rail easily and set solid pace withMrS on rail behind throughout and unable to make progres at any point but just plug on. AgBoo lost ground before halfway & no response. TTale tiny but a trier and ran as well as she could. DDora work across from wide draw gradually to be 4th after 2F & on to second through halfway. Challenged & led 1F out and good attitude to hold DF's response to line. This pair prob typical OR68-73 types for race winners & bigger than others. Nothing made progress in race. MrS OR60s and not 5f pace &no finishing kick. OR for early places are going to make it tough in nurseries unless he improves with distance. TTale struggle to win a poor seller. Agent Boo limited. Vague hints of promise further back but at too low a level to be of particular interest NTO. CDream 6th through Hf & last. Regardless go to midfield despite disappearing right from widest draw. Trainer can get surprise STO winners (say at WTON AW). Bluie another non-compet Nicholls FTO in 2009. Trundle into faders. |
