SUMMARY

2Two 6f races on card and both finished with fields spread over huge margins and ordinary times for fast ground (Headwind?). This race 0.5s slower than the maiden race and carrying 6lbs less.
This is the Second Level (Consolation) race for horses sold at DBS DSL Yearling Sales with the main race run at York earlier in the week. The main race seemed to be high OR80s and this bunch of leftovers probably OR60s. This race is worth nearly £25,000 to the winner. What a waste of prizemoney.
Race Pace faster than 1 and multi-way contest? Note colouring spread with only horses to make places the first two from midfield and two out the back who faded less than some who burst entirely. HYColour more than 6L back at Hf so missed the pace by more than a second but ExcBold only 2.5L back. EBold had to be extracted from Leading pack stalling to switch to centre to make a run inside last 2F. Good effort for FTO.
