SUMMARY

2Monsieur Joe first of a batch of 2yos runners for trainer following break with juveniles since July 15th. Mellifera ran in later fillies' race here & Motty's Gift runs 3TO as Nursery prep tomorrow.
Check what was going on with La Fortunata. She is a small, compact sprinter with no scope. But, she has early pace and is a trier and looks a reliable marker horse overall. The jockey rode the race on the right rein only holding his left arm like it was broken and not using it. Problem with the jockey or perhaps a rein broken? LaF better than this is allowed to run and not held in this odd, lopsided, manner.
