SUMMARY

2Looked a strong race on Profile and more than 1 second faster than Division II. Winner entered in Group races and 2nd a better debut from reliable trainer who had suggested he was better than Ok. 3rd the Hannon first string & ok size & range.
Gallant Eagle a strong finisher in a slow race on debut where those in front of him have won 3 Group races or placed in Listed races. Those behind him in that race were a mixed group including two OK winners around him (OR80s) but then into low OR70s & worse. Ran poorly second time out and Firm ground offered as an excuse. Firmer going here and ran a similar race. Better horses in front of him here and clear of the garbage rather than an excuse. Medium size and probably some sort of OR77-82 type and lacking mental toughness on evidence after first run.
