SUMMARY

2There is a strong stands' rail bias on the Lingfield turf course on firmer going & in full efect at this meeting. This is a narrow strip & right next to the rail the best place to run. The effect can look even stronger in the final 1.5f perhaps caused by horses running wider cracking through working against the bias earlier in the race.
Stargaze well drawn & ran the rail throughout. Set an average pace until making an effort 2F out. Went clear comfortably. He had looked unfit FTO and a slow learner in both previous runs & better here but can improve further. Impresses as a 2yo with more imprvement to make mentally & physically. Can rate higher.
JDanny a limited filly & ran to her best. DAffair touted as speedball FTO but blew up after 2.5F. Jk try to hold her up & settle behind here but got caught on outside of group throughout & only partially successful in plan. Short runner who wont settle & lacking size to develop though season makes her a difficult project.
The two better profile newcomers ran green & never involved. Khanivorous some support but owners bet on their horses whatever. Clueless & off back at Hf & helped by dropping to rail strip to make some progress late. SShot anonymous effort & nothing proved good or bad.
