SUMMARY
2Slight tailwind in straight & fast going. Field hang across to far rail in straight with, typical, late race hampering as tired horses roll right-hand to the stands' rail. Pace set a little too fast & Flapjack fade late to 3rd & newcomer SBJane broken by running close 2nd.
Antonius Moris 3rd debut winner of year for trainer & all supported. But, green overall and giving weight & a good effort to plug on late on the stands' rail to win. Can do better.
RTS bad debut & supported again. Track leaders in 4th and cut corner to straight so every advantage here but still unable to win. Probably little improvement to come. Took a long time to subdue the limited Flapjack.
MLW Bell stable in moderate form but SHeaven run well. Looked taller & rangy type but narrow bodied. Travel ok & making ground to challenge when squeezed out in gap. Lost 2 lengths and then eased. Competitive in similar race and trainers 2yos usually well short of best FTO.
Island Express hung on for a long time in a Class 4 6f maiden last time. Drop off tamely into straight. Claimed by A Stokell after debut & looks to be regressing under her handling.
