2Poor form & another race at course featuring a too strong pace and the leading pair through halfway bursting completely. Musiara & Blue Rum join up going freely on stands' rail early & efforts spent just ndise 2f out. Transfixed again showed her professionalism to settle in 3rd behind the pace and travel ok around 2 lengths off it. Left in lead 1.5 furlongs out and made a 2 lengths break. Stalled herself inside 1f and fading late but just hung on. Fading of 1st 3 through halfway in different ways meant those in 4-7th through halfway (excl. Bertie Black always adrift) could close up on them. These four bunched up inside 1F out & DKabira a little hampered. She was outpaced again and trundling on late to faders. This was the reason for her win last time and she has neither improved or regressed, the Hamilton form was garbage because of another 'pace war' boilover. Lairy improved and sat 4th at halfway 2.5L off lead. Look some combination of daft & unwilling throughout. Perhaps the reason for his name. Never faded and always responded in snatches to a thrashing. Got close to winning without ever shifting his arse properly once. Claimed & capable of similar race win if he complies more. Cass. K 9 lengths back at Hf & able to finish into walking pack to nearly win. Probably better 7f+ & might win early seller at that distance. Mary Helen some support & 7 lengths off lead at Hf and plug on into faders. |
