2Stalls Far side of the far strip which has not been used since May. Stiff tailwind on day. Racing suggested a Far Rail bias & getting onto the rail seemed an advantage even compared to being 2-3 off it. Winner ran 0.06s slower than the Maiden winner & carried 5lbs less here. KK-ED-RDT semmed to take each other on from 3f+ out and stalled to various degrees inside final 1f. CS ran the rail and outpaced by front 3 2.5f out and not look likely winner. Came through to lead inside last 1f as leaders stalled and went away at finish. Times suggest leaders had gone too quick and stopped and CS form should be taken in light of that. |
